Zoeller Pressure Booster Systems are designed to increase household water pressure when city water pressure is a problem. These pre-packaged pressure systems are ideal for single or multi-family dwellings. The systems are used in applications from 1-20 GPM (4.5 - 90.9 LPM) ranging in water pressure up to 70 PSI. In addition to increased water pressures, the patented controller allows the system to deliver constant pressure at any given flow rate.

The Zoeller systems are installed in tandem with your municipal water lines. The system will not interfere with your normal city water flow unless needed, virtually eliminating the up and down water pressure fluctuations experienced in many other tank systems plumbed in line. In fact, the system starts only once and runs continuously as long as the water flow rate is 1 GPM (4.5 LPM) or more. The pressure switch is used only to automatically turn the system on and as a safety precaution to shut the system off if water pressures get too high. The tank helps prevent water hammer and is used as a safety reservoir to prevent nuisance cycling, i.e. leaky faucet or getting a single glass of water.

High Performance City Booster Systems
The patent-pending controller, flow sensor and pressure switch continuously monitor water flow and pressure. This system saves energy consumption by automatically shutting the unit off if added pressure is no longer required. The control package also protects plumbing from excessively high water pressures, automatically turning the system off if water pressure exceeds 70 psi. It also protects against dry run conditions, shutting the system down in 30 seconds if no water flow is detected.
These systems are capable of delivering up to 70 psi to the house - a pressure relief valve must always be installed with these city booster systems. Factory settings are for a water main pressure of 20 psi. Minimum inlet flow pressure is 10 psi. Systems include painted steel or stainless steel tanks with a 100% butyl diaphragm for proven water quality protection and long term resistance to corrosion. The pump must be wired on a separate 15 amp circuit. These systems are designed for cold water use only.
